The Clift was built in 1915 and has been transformed into a true work of art from the specially commissioned digital paintings by various International artists, to the lobby living room with commissioned photographs by Jean Baptiste Mondino, to the sculpture surround by Gerard Garouste. Conceived by French designer Philippe Starck, the Clift Hotel is 17 miles from San Francisco International Airport.
